Financial

The Bank of Canada
The Bank of Canada site includes a variety of useful features, including information on interest and exchange rates, financial indicators, securities auctions and more. The convenient "Currency Converter" allows you to determine Canadian dollar equivalents for a broad range of foreign currencies.

Tax

The Canada Revenue Agency
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is responsible for the administration of tax laws for the Government of Canada, and for most provinces and territories.

Federal Tax Rates
Prescribed and up to date federal and provincial tax rates.

Federal Tax Instalments
Federal tax instalments must be made by a corporation if in the prior year the corporation had an income. The instalments usually equal the taxes owing from the prior year.

"My Account" and Personal tax Information
Personal tax information can be accessed on the website once an epass, issued by the government is obtained. If an individual does not have an epass one can be applied for this on the website as well. General information such as Home Buyers Plan information can be accessed without an epass.

GST and HST Enquiries
Details in relation to GST, and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). HST will be effective in Ontario beginning July 1, 2010.

Computerized payroll tables that will determine an employee's source deductions.

Governmental

Finance Canada
The federal Department of Finance is responsible for the development of federal fiscal policy, including laws affecting federal taxes, financial institutions and markets, and federal-provincial transfer payments.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
Employers are required to pay insurance based on a prescribed rate assigned by WSIB multiplied by the wages paid.

AgriStability
A risk management program for the farming industry that is intended to reduce gross margin declines in a particular year through the provision of funding through Agricorp.

AgriInvest
A risk management program for the farming industry that is intended to reduce risk through the existence of an investment account. Matching funding is available through Agricorp.

OMAFRA
Information with regards to news releases and calendars with farm related events.
